Music and paintings are two forms of art that I find my self moved by. It awakens something deep in my soul that I have no other way to get access to.
I believe art to be an intimate choice of purchase. Invest your time in selecting a piece that speaks to you. What I mean by that, is that it should awaken something within you, a feeling. And if that's the feeling matches the space you are shopping for, then you found your art.
I wish I could afford all the beautiful paintings out there and I wish I had a gallery to display all of them. But unfortunately, I live in a different reality. Luckily for me, I found a store that sells fine art prints of the independent artists, that I'm absolutely crazy about.
Minted, sells art for all of your spaces. Children art, teen art, murals, photography, drawings, even seasonal art.
Minted makes it very easy for you to select size and even frame. But what I do is just buy the print. Then I custom frame it to fit my style and likes. Custom doesn't always mean pricey. So, shop around. Stores like Micheal's and Hobby Lobby often will have sales going to get good pricing. I personally LOVE my local store Snelson's
They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and do a great job at a good price.
